BA Global Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Test Automation Specialist to report to the Manager of Development, working in a customer-focused, innovative, challenging, and fun learning environment. As a Test Automation Specialist, you will work closely with the Development team and users to ensure high-quality software tools producing various output formats optimized for accessibility, utilized by our customers' blind and low-vision end-users.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain test plans and test specifications for functional, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing.
Develop automated tests for new and existing functionality.
Conduct automated and manual testing.
Design and publish metrics to support automation test creation and execution.
Monitor release quality and make recommendations regarding risks and stability.
Research and recommend new test tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Contribute to the team’s best practices and development standards.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related
Experience with CI/CD practices, automated tests, builds, and deployments
+3 years of experience with both automated and manual test strategies
Experience with UI and API automated testing frameworks
Knowledge of performance evaluation strategies and tests
+3 years of experience in testing cloud and desktop applications
Experience with Windows environment and .NET framework
Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Understanding applications from both technical and end-user perspectives
+1 Experience working with accessibility standards and tool

Ability to own and self-manage daily tasks
